THE TIKI WAR Mad Men meets Inglourious Basterds at the 2010 Minnesota Fringe Festival. This live theater show covers one life-altering night in a Tiki bar in Chicago, January, 1961, just before Kennedy's inauguration and two years after Castro's takeover of Cuba. Five lowlifes - three competing night club owners and two luckless entertainers - battle over love, honor, heroin and Cuba's most potent rum. CATFIGHT! Two rival teams of documentary filmmakers, following the campaigns of two women running for Congress, are able to affect the election thanks to advice from the ghost of Elvis Presley. A live theatrical production of this comedy film script was presented at the 2008 Minnesota Fringe Festival. It featured John Ervin in the role of right-wing talk show host Bill "Kill!" Sargent and Elvis impersonator Micheal Cooperman as The King. Voted among the Top 50 Film Scripts at the 2010 Exposure Fest in Minneapolis.

NO WITNESSES A dark, multi-story work in the vein of Pulp Fiction and Thirteen Conversations About One Thing. Three sets of depraved people, all socially connected by an unseen, degenerate millionaire, undergo bizarre conflicts as a result of their destructive tendencies.

CLEANLINESS IS ...  A short piece that blends the raw realism of the cinema of John Cassavettes with the unintentional hilarity of educational films of the '50's and '60's. This script concerns the wackily dysfunctional relationship between a chain-smoking salesman, his drunken, hoarder wife and their teenage delinquent son.

HOLLYWOOD RISING A musical tribute to the cinematic and literary works of avant-garde filmmaker and Hollywood Babylon author Kenneth Anger. A heroin-addicted actress in 1935 Hollywood agrees to dry out in order to revive her career. She is hardly clean before she finds herself caught in a web of murder, romance and Satanic worship.

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE NAPALM The Song Remains the Same meets The Forty-Year Old Virgin. Two obsessive, middle-aged fans of a has-been heavy metal singer resurrect his career under a new musical identity, and soon find their lives utterly destroyed by this new persona. Any resemblance to Van Halen's greatest lead singer, with whom they may or may not have recently reunited, is purely coincidental.
